The Supreme Court issued a 6-3 ruling permitting enforcement of portions of President Trump’s March 31 executive order on mail-in voting after overturning a lower court block. Twenty-three Democratic-led states had previously sued over the order. The states returned to court seeking further relief while the Department of Justice indicated it would defend the restrictions.
