Heavy rainfall caused flooding across parts of Missouri on Friday, leading to helicopter evacuations of more than 200 people from Camp Taum Sauk in Lesterville and additional rescues near the Black River. The Missouri Army National Guard and state highway patrol conducted operations using Black Hawk helicopters, with evacuees transported to a nearby elementary school. One woman remains missing in Crawford County after her home was swept away, while no major injuries or fatalities have been reported.
