Framing Analysis
A flash flood triggered by a mud and rock collapse struck the Nepal-Tibet border on Wednesday, destroying houses, roads, and power projects in Nepal and hitting a crossing in Tibet's Gyirong county. Hundreds of people are reported missing, including more than 100 from India, more than 100 from Nepal, 54 from the US, 33 from the UK, and at least five Japanese nationals. Survivors have been airlifted to a hospital in Kathmandu.
