Ukraine and the European Union reached a drone production agreement announced on July 15 2026 in Kyiv by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during Ukraine's Statehood Day. The arrangement opens Ukrainian drone capabilities to all 27 EU member states and draws on existing EU funding mechanisms. Additional bilateral drone pacts were signed separately by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
