Framing Analysis
The Enforcement Directorate conducted a seven-hour raid starting at 6 a.m. on Wednesday at the Thiruvananthapuram residence of Pinarayi Vijayan in connection with a money-laundering investigation involving Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd. CPI(M) workers threw objects at an ED vehicle carrying women officials, damaging its windshield, before senior party leaders intervened. Vijayan, identified in reports as Leader of the Opposition but serving as Chief Minister, emerged with a raised fist and accused the BJP of misusing central agencies.
