A unanimous three-judge panel of the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals vacated a lower-court order that had blocked the National Park Service from replacing interpretive panels at the President’s House site in Independence National Historical Park. The ruling permits the Trump administration to proceed with new displays that address George Washington’s household, including the nine enslaved people held there. Philadelphia had sued to preserve the prior exhibits.
